One Building...a lot of Business.
AlFresco was incorporated in 1999 in a five hundred square foot space. In 2004 the building at 215 S. Jefferson was purchased and AlFresco moved into a massive five thousand square foot space. Overnight guest suites were created out of the derelict second floor soon after the move. (www.alfrescosuites.com)
A fire in 2007 brought down the entire building, thankfully without casualties. We were left with a forty by one hundred and thirty foot sand pit located between two buildings. Almost one year to the day of the fire the new AlFresco building was opened for business, with new suites on the second floor and an outdoor walled courtyard in the back.
As we all know 2008 brought about lots of economic challenges in the coming years. In response AlFresco created AlFresco Salon Suites in 2012 by sectioning off a portion of the store previously dedicated to custom window treatments and furniture and created five individual suites available for rent by Salon Professionals and Massage Therapists. Today the Salon Suites are a welcome addition, bringing market diversity as well as a wonderful convenience to any guests staying at AlFresco Suites. Wedding guests only need to walk through the door to find the perfect wedding gifts, five star lodging as well as hair and make-up! What more could a forty by hundred and thirty sand lot bring?
